The Rosendin Foundation, a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to positively impacting communities and empowering individuals, announces the return of TRF Camp Build, a free summer camp designed to ignite the joy of building in middle school students. This summer, TRF Camp Build takes place May 16 at Modular Power Solutions, 400 Harry McKillop Blvd. Space is limited; parents can complete an application for boys and girls entering 6-8th grades for an exciting day of construction, skill-building, and fun.

TRF Camp Build offers an immersive hands-on experience, providing campers with valuable skills that extend beyond the program's duration. Under the expert guidance of skilled construction professionals, campers will engage in a variety of activities, including personal safety training, concrete pouring and rebar shoring, soldering, pipe bending, Building Information Modeling (BIM), framing, woodworking, roofing, and painting.

The construction industry faces a growing demand for skilled trade workers to build America's infrastructure, making programs like TRF Camp Build essential for workforce development. The camp helps parents understand that construction offers excellent career opportunities, whether students choose to attend college after high school or enter the workforce directly, with many trades offering competitive salaries and job security.

The local Rosendin office will lead TRF Camp Build, bringing expertise and materials from industry partners including DeWalt and Milwaukee and United Rentals among others. The camp benefits from strong partnerships with IBEW Local 20, which provides additional volunteer instructors and training facilities to enhance the student experience.
